"Frontiers in Organic Synthesis Short Course" (FROST2).

This event will be held in Budapest, October 14-15, 2009,
at the prestigious institute of Collegium Budapest (http://www.colbud.hu) Szentháromság utca 2, H-1014 Budapest,
in the old Castle District.

FROST2 is organized in association with the American Chemical Society Hungarian Chapter (ACS HC).
The course targets innovative areas of organic chemistry which have great future potential. This year, the theme of the course will be,

"Progress in Flow Chemistry".

Topics will include

High yielding and selective reactions in flow
Homogeneous and heterogeneous catalytic synthesis
Rapid scale-up and reaction optimization
"Flash" chemistry as an alternative to microwave assisted synthesis
